Happy Holiday everyone! If you’re in Brooklyn tomorrow please stop by the 321 Holiday Sale (12/2). I’ll be showing my work along with 90+ talented vendors. I’ll have original art, prints, greeting cards and taking orders for custom watercolor house portraits. If you can’t make it, I’m also having a big sale at my online shop. Thanks so much! https://amandakavanagh.bigcartel.com/
A Sense of Place
I’m thrilled to be exhibiting more than 20 paintings alongside the very talented Scott Farrell and Maxine Jurow in “A Sense of Place” at the William Ris Gallery on Long Island’s North Fork. The opening reception is February 15th 2020. Hope to see some of you there.
Bryant Park painter-in-residence
I’m so grateful and honored (and a little freaked out) to be selected as one of two Painters-in-Residence at beautiful Bryant Park this fall. The gig starts Tuesday, Sept 12 (weather permitting). If you’re in midtown Manhattan anytime over the next 2 weeks, please stop by and say hello.
I guess it's time to get over that fear of people watching over my shoulder.
A Small Matter
I'm happy to be a part of this small works show at the Ann Street Gallery in Newburgh NY. The show is up through Oct 20th.
Open Studio Sale this Saturday
I'm teaming up with some talented friends for our first open studio party this Saturday from 12-6. If you're in the NYC area this weekend, please stop by say hello.

Upstream Gallery Opening
I have 3 paintings in this group show at Upstream Gallery in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. The opening is Sunday January 8, from 2-5. Please stop by if you are in the area.
DIY plein air palette
Inspired by other plein air sketcher's palettes, I decide to try and make my own custom easel. It was fast, cheap and works great! I bought one sheet of coroplast from Staples, folded it over for extra strength, and then cut the holes to my specific needs. My little palette has a thumb ring on the back that fits into the slot on the bottom right.
Thanks S&B
A nice little shout out this week from the lovely folks at Stillman & Birn.
Nahcotta's Enormous Tiny Art #20
I'm happy to contribute to another great ETA show. If you are in the Portsmith NH area, please check it out!
